    First Street Southbound

light traffic at 7:00 am. However watch out for the asphalt breaking on the shoulder where it meets the bridge over the I-88 Tollway. Gurler Rd.  was lightly travelled.

On Crego Rd. the southbound lane has groves cut into the pavement. The grooves are probably not wide enough  to make a bad day but it is something to be aware of.

The shoulder at the Keslinger Rd. and Route 23 intersection is seriously rutted with gravel scattered into the roadway – be careful. And on the return leg traffic was typically busy on Route 23.  Ride safe.

    Malta Rd at 7:00 pm

has a lot of traffic. I do not remember so many vehicles this time of the evening. But then everyone wants a shortcut to their destination. Nelson Rd, Fairview, University Rd, Keslinger, Anderland, Gurler, and First St. only a few cars made for a pleasant evening ride.
